Summer Programs Too!
Pro Arts School is Pro Arts Triple Threat program
that includes Lights Camera Acting (LCA) 1 and 2
(see LCA) and extensive training in Musical Theatre, Commercials,
T.V & Film. Pro Arts School offers a comprehensive
artistic outlet for all ages and levels of discipline, to explore
and celebrate their passions and creativity.
- Focus on Theatre - including acting, singing, dancing &
career development.
- Focus on Commercials, T.V & Film – including scene
study, scripts, cognition & character development, shooting
a short film.
- Students of Pro Arts School may be given the opportunity to
audition for Pro Arts Performance Co.
- Participants involved in Pro Arts School will perform on stage,
in a short film & will be seen by agents & casting directors.
Programs run from mid September until the end of June.
LIGHTS CAMERA ACTING! (LCA)
Classes and workshops in Brantford, Hamilton, Oakville, Mississauga,
Port Dover, St Catherine’s & more…
LCA – 1 is an introduction to the camera program.
Students will learn essential audition and performance on camera
skills that can assist with personal and professional growth.
- Monologues
- T.V Language
- Camera Shots
- Commercials
- Improvisation
- Concentration and Memory Games & exercises.
LAC – 2 is a program that includes all of what
LCA-1 offers and introduces the differences between Commercial,
T.V, Film & theatre acting.
Students will have the opportunity to work on stage and on camera
to further develop skills in vocal, acting, movement and improvisation
techniques. The program will prepare students for meeting agents
and casting directors.
